Note: Information on school assignments and waitlist status will be available beginning noon on April 15th.  You can access this information online or by calling 206-252-0212.  Letters will also be mailed to families who submitted an open enrollment application. 

Enrolling in Seattle Public Schools:

Information about enrolling in Seattle Public Schools

Salmon Bay is an Option School.  You will need to apply for a choice assignment in order to enroll in an Option School.  You can find more information here.

All families may apply for placement to Salmon Bay.  Transportation is given to families who live in Hamilton or Whitman reference areas.

Enrollment Priority

  1. Sibling
  2. Geographic Zone – (73rd NW, 9th Ave NW, NW Market St and 22nd Ave NW)
  3. Lottery

Open enrollment Period

For option schools (or to apply for another attendance area school than your own or for a program such as Sprectrum, APP, etc) is February 25-March 8th.
